Assessment Process

Residents at Midlands Rehabilitation Housing (MRH) undergo a comprehensive assessment to determine their suitability for the programme. This assessment evaluates:

  • Commitment to the programme

  • Drug and alcohol history

  • Criminal history

  • Mental health history

  • Any additional relevant information

​

The MRH programme is designed to provide tailored support, working closely with partner agencies to ensure long-term recovery and rehabilitation.

  • Independent living skills sessions – Building self-sufficiency and confidence

  • Evidence-based Twelve Step Facilitation – A structured recovery framework

  • Nature-based activities – Promoting mindfulness and connection with the environment

  • Health, Fitness, and Sports – Encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle

  • Life skills and education – Practical training for independent living

  • Assistance in making referrals for ongoing support – Ensuring continuity of care
